"Mi Vida?"
Valeria called from the hall, toeing off her boots and padding down the thick carpeted entryway. You were inside the mansion, she knew that much; Her guards would never allow you out without her express permission.
She checked the rooms closest to the front door first, the solarium where you liked to be so often and even the kitchens but when she didn't find you she began to grow worried, taking the stairs quickly up to your bedroom. Your room was right next to hers, a beautiful suite overlooking the back garden. She knocked twice, not waiting for an answer before she was pushing the door open.
Valeria relaxed once she saw you, a small smile gracing her usually stern features. Ever since she'd had you taken from the beach she'd been worried that you'd find a way to escape but so far her little bird had stayed neatly in its cage.
"There you are, mi amor. You had me worried."
