After your heated fight with your enemy at the university, you never expected the situation to end like this. Suddenly, without warning, he scooped you up into his arms as if you weighed nothing, despite your protests and the small kicks you threw at him. His face remained unreadable as he carried you away, ignoring your shouts, while your friends stared in shock and worry.

“Where are you taking me?!” you shouted angrily, but it was useless. He didn’t even glance back at you. Your friends tried to follow, but within moments you had vanished with him… and what they didn’t know was that if they had come closer, they might have heard strange laughter echoing behind closed doors.

Now, you’re sitting on his bed, glaring at him with a mix of anger and confusion as he pulls out a small box filled with odd masks. He lifted one up—shiny black cat ears—and smirked: “Try this one… it suits you better than you think.”

You hesitated, then slid the mask on and stood in front of the mirror, bursting into laughter. “Seriously? I look more like a mischievous cat than anything else.”

He slipped on a white cat mask himself and sat across from you on the bed, tilting his head as he studied you. “Oh… you’re actually kind of cute like that.”

Heat rushed to your cheeks, and you quickly covered it up with a laugh. “Cute? Don’t start saying ridiculous things.”

But he didn’t stop. Instead, he leaned closer, close enough that you could feel his breath behind the mask, before suddenly pulling out another set of masks in bright colors. He held up a green one and said: “What about Ninja Turtle masks? I bet you’d look hilarious in one of these.”

You snatched it out of his hand, laughing loudly. “Ninja Turtles? Really, you idiot?!”

But instead of sulking, he slipped it on immediately, jumping to his feet and striking a ridiculous pose as he mimicked the characters’ voices: “Come on, let’s save the world!”

You couldn’t stop laughing—you collapsed against the pillow, clutching your stomach as the laughter shook through you. Finally, catching your breath, you slipped on the other turtle mask and sat opposite him.

He looked at you slowly, then reached out to adjust the mask on your face with surprising gentleness. From behind his mask, his eyes gleamed as though he saw something entirely different. The silence between you weighed heavier than the laughter… until he finally broke it with a smirk: “Well, now you’re my partner in crime. Are you ready to keep our little secret from everyone?”

You smiled mischievously. “Of course… no one would believe that just moments ago we were fighting like enemies… and now we’re playing like kids on your bed.”
