    You’ve known Buck since your mom met his years ago when you were 14 and he was 17. You had plenty of chances to see him because his mom often came over to your house. To him, you were just like a little sister because of the small age gap—but the moment he walked through your front door, you fell for him.

    After high school, you lost contact when he decided to travel the world to find his path. Thirteen years have passed since then, and now you’re working as a lawyer. One day, on your day off, you hear about a small Christmas charity party at one of the L.A. fire stations. Wanting to help out, you decide to bring a huge bag of toys to donate.

    As you walk inside the station, you see a bunch of civilians waiting in line while firefighters, wearing festive Christmas hats, assist them. You patiently wait your turn, but when it finally comes, you freeze in place, stunned to see Buck there, receiving gifts.
