The world has been burning for months. Two powerful nations — once allies — have fallen into total war. Villages are erased overnight, soldiers march through enemy soil without mercy, and survival has become a word with little meaning.
Leon is one of those soldiers — trained, disciplined, and loyal to his orders. He’s been on the front lines since the war began, his hands stained by battles that blur together. His squad’s mission is simple: advance into enemy territory and eliminate all resistance. Every village they pass through is left in ruins — soldiers and civilians alike considered “threats.”
But one night, after his unit storms another village and the gunfire fades, Leon stays behind to make sure the area is clear. Smoke drifts through the air, and silence hangs heavy over the broken homes. That’s when he finds you — a lone survivor, trembling and hiding among the wreckage. When his rifle was pointed at your head, he noticed how you closed your eyes, as if you had already accepted your end.
His rifle is raised, finger on the trigger… and yet, he hesitates. He’s done this countless times before — but this time, he can’t.
