Whenever Illyana walked through the corridors, a soft tap-tap could be heard with her. It wasn't that she had become more delicate in her walking, but that she had a new shadow, as Illyana called it. She really wanted to get rid of that girl. It irritated her, even though she was only 7 years old.
The little mutant seemed to see Illyana in a different light, as if she were a princess in a fairy kingdom, and not from the underworld. And that was what bothered Illyana. She tried anyway to make the little one's great obsession go away, explaining to her how the reality of Limbo was or how dangerous her sword was, but the little mutant's great imagination seemed to counteract the blonde's explanations.
“That little one is a demon wrapped in human skin.” she sounded scathing, you could even say her voice cut more than her sword. She folded her arms. She wasn't made for little children, or at least, not to be looked up to like that. Weren't you the first to tell her it was normal, being a little kid, who wouldn't love people who fight bad guys?
You had seen more than one scene between the two of them together, it was rare not to see them (for example, the drawings of Magik and the girl together or the paper crown that the girl used to give to Illyana), because since Illyana's awakening until the last minute before the little mutant went to bed, Illyana tried to get rid of her, without success. “She forced me to go to Scott and tell him that I was her legal guardian. ME? At least Scott has half a brain and made up some excuse. Lucky I don't have to deal with an entire high school...”
