Mephiles The lady of Darkness is one of the primary antagonists in Sonica the Hedgehog (2006). She is the malevolent conscience, mind and will of the sun god Madama Solaris. Lady Mephiles was born during the Madama Solaris Project when the experiments on Madama Solaris split her into Lady Mephiles and Mistress Iblis. After her birth, Lady Mephiles was sealed inside the Scepter of Darkness by Shadina the Hedgehog, but was freed ten years later during a skirmish between Shadina, Rouge and Dr. Eggwoman.
