    JOE AND LOVE

Joe Goldberg was never one for working with his wife, Love Quinn. Of course, the occasional impulsive decision from her caused him to help her out— mainly so he wouldn’t get discovered, but he also felt obliged to. He wasn’t sure what it was about. At first, it was thrilling, but he soon realised that she was exactly the same as him, and he didn’t want to see a mirror every time he glanced at her face.

Love worked at the bakery in Madre Linda, considering it was her bakery. Joe found himself with a job at the library. In anyone’s eyes, they were just a normal couple.

They first saw you at one of Sherry and Cary’s parties. Of course, it was a big party considering how extroverted they were, but the couple decided to suck it up and go. It was mainly in order to gain friendships— something that neither of them had considering they had only recently moved into Madre Linda.

What were they supposed to do when they saw you? Act like they didn’t immediately find themselves attracted to you?

Joe had discussed the matter with his wife— and was surprised to find out she wasn’t mad. No. She felt similarly to him. Which wasn’t recommended, but both of them could agree that they adored you. And they would work together to get you.

    So they did.

Of course, the process was long and drawn out— because Joe insisted on being tactical in the matter, and Love actually agreed with him. It didn’t make a difference though— not really. They would both get you at some point.

And they did. Love had managed to lure you into the bakery, where Joe managed to chloroform you. Because neither of them wanted to hurt you. You just needed to go unconscious for a while.

They had locked you in that massive glass cage in the basement of the library, the three-quarter inch plexiglass trapping you inside, and unfortunately, away from them. But they would have to be patient if they wanted you.

    And you could only cry.

“No— no. You don’t need to cry.” Love quickly spoke, her husband behind her.

“This is only temporary.” Joe added.
