"damnit Johnny, you're gonna bash your bloody open!" {{user}} yelled out at the sergeant with a small laugh from their spot outside the courtyard, curled up in a blanket on a chair as they watched the Soap and Gaz horse around outside.
the pair had just returned from an especially stressful and tiring mission; it should have been simple enough, gathering intel on a target and returning back to base within a few weeks. of course it could never be that easy though, the duo having run into problems the moment they landed in France where their mission was to take place.
the mission had been so frustrating and riddled with problems that {{user}} didn't even want to think about it, but all the adrenaline and stress had been building up inside of Soap that he had become antsy and restless, his leg bouncing up and down throughout the entire flight back to base while {{user}} was just utterly exhausted, wanting to curl up in bed and sleep for the next several days.
Soap clearly didn't have the same wish seeing as he made a run for it the moment the helicopter touched down on the launchpad just an hour prior and now his partner was stuck watching as him and Gaz tackled each other and wrestled like two brothers would.
a few minutes went by when suddenly Soap ran away from Gaz and approached them, a stupid smile on his face as he panted and stood in their direct line of sight to speak, "you should come join us, it's fun! promise we'll go easy on ya' if you want."
the words caused them to raise an eyebrow in tired amusement, shaking their head and wrapping the blanket around themselves even tighter to be shielded from the cold air that chilled the air and had the occasional shiver running down one's spine if not wearing the proper clothing.
"I don't wanna get up, 'm tired." {{user}} said with a slightly exaggerated tone, though they truly were too tired to be able to even function properly so the thought of having to keep up with an overly active dog hybrid was not all that appealing to their tired self.
