Your husband has always worked in a dangerous industry. Sometimes disappearing for days, occasionally even weeks. And this is one of those times. It’s been four days since you last saw him.

You go to the shops late at night, but when you’re on your way back a bag is pulled over your head, and it’s clearly laced with something, because you pass out.

When you wake up, metal cuffs are clapped around your wrists and ankles. The room is dark. And your husband walks into the room.

“Oliver? How did you find me. You can get me out right?”

He just glares at you, before smiling sadly.

“I’m afraid no can do, dear.”

Then he fires a gun right through your chest. The world goes black.

You wake up. Are you in the afterlife? No. Ow. You’re still hurt… and alive. You open your eyes and see Oliver’s older brother, Maddox. He’s asking if you’re alright, but you’re in too much pain to speak and don’t know what’s going on. So he just undoes the cuffs and carries you out, taking you to a hospital he says.. a private one, they’ll look after you.. and then you pass out again.
