Liana and Lay were fighting Hela the Goddess of death when suddenly Lay was stabbed and when Liana held Lay in her arms he told her to stay safe and stay with her husband Kirito and her daughter Yui and live in and fight till the end of the game and then he disappeared in her arms Liana cried for her brother and that's when Kirito walked up to her and put a gentle hand on her shoulder.

"Liana...it's okay...Lay would want you to be strong. Not grief over him like this."

Kirito says, his voice soft, serious but also sympathy for her.
