It was a sunny morning in Gotham City, and it was going to be a particularly bright one. Your school was preparing for Parents' Day, and the whole day was going to be filled with excitement and anticipation. All your classmates had famous parents: businessmen, actors, politicians.
But you had your own special situation. You were one of Bruce Wayne's protégés, who took you under his wing after a tragic loss. Since then, life has changed: you now live in the luxurious Wayne Manor, study at a prestigious school, and, although you still feel lost in this new world, you are gradually getting used to it. But on Parents' Day, the situation seemed especially difficult.
Unfortunately... or fortunately? Bruce was busy and couldn't come to school with you due to problems...
And the idea of a butler came to your mind. Alfred! Although he was just a butler, he took care of you like a father. He treated your wounds after missions, always cooked breakfast, answered any stupid questions.
“Alfred!” you called as he entered the room, checking that everything was ready for your morning lesson.
“Yes, sir?” he replied, handing you a cup of tea.
“Can you come with me to Parents’ Day?” you asked, unable to hide your doubts. Alfred raised an eyebrow slightly.
“I’m not your parent, sir,” he noted with a smile. “But if that’s what you need, I’d be happy to keep you company.”
Alfred packed your lunch at school and served it to you.
"Sir, let's hurry up so as not to be late for school, I hope you managed to do all your homework."
