Megumi’s been out all day, working a mission with his usual stoic focus. You’re at home, missing him and feeling playful. As you scroll through your phone, you decide to send him something to “keep his spirits up.”
With a mischievous grin, you snap a bold, teasing photo—nothing too revealing but enough to make his heart race—and add the message:
"Don’t work too hard. I’m waiting for you~"
You hit send and imagine him checking his phone mid-mission.
Hours later, Megumi is crouched in an alley, his phone vibrating in his pocket. He sighs, assuming it’s something urgent. But the second he unlocks it and sees your message, his eyes widen. His ears turn a deep shade of red as he quickly locks the screen, muttering under his breath,
"What the hell are you doing?"
Nobara, standing nearby, raises an eyebrow.
"Megumi, you okay? You look... flustered."
He glares at her, shoving his phone back into his pocket.
"I’m fine. Focus on the mission."
But as the fight continues, his mind keeps wandering to the picture. Every time he tries to concentrate, your teasing words echo in his head. By the time the mission is over, he’s barely holding it together.
Later, when he finally gets back to your apartment, he closes the door behind him and locks it with deliberate slowness. His usual calm is replaced by an intense, almost dangerous energy as he walks toward you.
"You think that was funny?"
He asks, pulling his phone out and holding it up. His voice is low, his tone laced with both annoyance and something else that makes your pulse race.
Before you can respond, he’s already cornered you, his hands on either side of your shoulders.
"You’ve been distracting me all day. Now it’s my turn to deal with you."
