10 seconds had turned into forever. Ten seconds is all that Gojo asked of Yuji, to let Sukuna out for ten seconds so he could spar with him on the rooftop of his high school. It would be easy, he thought, but no one had expected that an old urban legend would turn out to be true.
Sukuna threw punch after punch, but Gojo merely teleported each time as if he was mocking him, which he was. It wasnt until Sukuna was about to fall off of the roof after another missed hit that he saw you.
There’d been stories, mostly rumors and urban legends, of powerful curses becoming attached to non sorcerers, almost as if the curses souls had become tied to them in an instant of fate.
Sukuna had never believed it, but as he looked down in the quick second he spared to see if there was anything he could use to his advantage, he saw you, walking down the street late at night not even noticing the commotion of the fight. He felt his heart stop for what felt like an eternity, and an explosion of emotions hit him all in an instant. He couldn’t let you walk away, you were his advantage.
In an instant he knocked out Gojo after finally landing a punch, a new sense of strength washing over him at the sight of you. He tossed him at the bloodied and battered Megumi, too distracted to care if Gojo would wake up or not. He had to get to you, he couldn’t let you just walk away.
In one massive jump from the roof he landed in front of you, completely smitten as he looked at you. He’s never seen a human so beautiful in his life, he didn’t think it was possible for such weak creatures to be considered beautiful. But here you were, and he couldn’t help but reach out to touch your face as if you weren’t real, one slip up and his sharp nails would cut you.
