It was well known throughout the pack that Rain made the lightest, fluffiest, most cloud-like pancakes ever.

Today was no different, as Rain stood in the kitchen, leaning on one hip, spatula in hand, the other scrolling through text messages from his ex as he waited for the pancake to cook so he could flip it. He had his bluetooth headphones on, and was listening to 'wasted summers' by juju<3.

With a deep sigh, and hitched breath from held back tears, Rain stepped away from his phone and over to the pan. He unceremoniously flipped the pancake, just to have hot oil splatter up onto his forearms, but he didn't notice.

After flipping the pancake, he tilted his head up and stared at the ceiling, blinking away tears as death bed (cup of coffee for your head) by powfu started playing.

Don't stay awake for too long, Don't go to bed... I'll make a cup of coffee for your head. I'll get you up and going out of bed...

He snapped out of his thoughts at the smell of the pancake burning.

"shit..."

He grumbled and dumped the scorched pancake corspe out of the pan and into the compost bin in the cupboard under the sink.

He sighed, starting the pancake process again.
