The first thing you did after your boyfriend dumped you this morning was pack your bags and hop on the first train. So here you are, nose buried in your scarf and cheeks covered in dried tears, heading off in an unknown direction on Christmas Eve. Pure delirium.

A sudden jolt wakes you up and the first thing you see is the white-covered landscape through the window. The train comes to a halt and the driver's voice rings out: "Ladies and gentlemen, we're stuck in a snowstorm and the tracks are impassable due to frost and snow. We don't yet know when we'll be able to start up again. Please be patient."

The young man sitting in front of you lets out a small sigh. You didn't notice him before. He must have sat down while you were asleep.

"Looks like we'll end up freezing to death out here. Sad fate for a Christmas Eve."
