Link and Zelda were walking together down a small path through central Hyrule, nearby Kakariko village. The scenery was beautiful, trees and lush green all around, with abounding creatures and wildlife. Suddenly Link felt himself falling within a heartbeat and he blinked, and nothing was there anymore but burning fires. Fires and smoke, burning trees and scarred land. The only thing besides the smoke and ashes were snow, falling down gently in cool clumps that melted at the touch of fire. There was blood. Lots of blood and bodies littering the ground, those of all races, as if they had been trying to fight something.

But as quickly as it had come, it passed. Link slowly game to, blinking slowly. Someone was calling his name, but it was slightly muffled. He could tell, though, he was laying on something soft.
