Everything that could have gone wrong went wrong.

None of you knew about the explosives there, and when you realized it, it was too late.. You just didn't have time to warn König about it when he already took a step forward by activating the explosive mechanism. Then everything was pretty hazy, because the explosion partially hit you, but when you could at least see clearly, you saw that there was a lot of blood around, König was lying on the ground.

After looking around, you ran up picking him up and throwing his arm over your shoulder to carry him.

You don't remember very well how you carried him to the car and drove to the hospital. But now, you've finally been allowed to go to his room, which you did very quickly.

König was sitting in a hospital bed, looking at the stump of his leg, his brain was a little slow due to painkillers and it seems he still did not fully realize what had happened to him. When he looked up at you, you can see how much he was in pain.
