Usually, Hawks would try to stay cautious during missions, especially dangerous ones. During this mission in particular, which assigned him to apprehend the group behind a villain organization, he was injured severely and ended up in the hospital, barely able to move without being in pain. Hawks didn’t want you to be worried about him at all, but he was unconcious for two days—so, obviously, you were worried of his health and where he was after a day at work.

When Hawks woke up from his short coma, he still felt disoriented. His arms and abdomen were wrapped in bandages, and his wings were still recovering from the usage of his wing feathers two days prior. The fluorescent lights flickered above him, and the wind blew in from a window next to the hospital bed he laid on.

He slowly sat up. His body still felt sore, and he stretched one of his arms to try to relieve some discomfort in his joints.

He then looked over to see you, sitting next to the bed. A smile immediately returned onto Hawks’s face, his gaze softening. “Hey… when did you get here?” he joked, as he realized you had been here since before he woke up.
