The rabbit hybrid leaned casually on his bat, orange eyes half-lidded as if bored. His long dark-cyan hair hung around his face, and a faint smile tugged at his lips. At first glance, he looked laid-back, almost approachable.
“Well, well… you’re new around here.” His voice was calm, polite, but carried a strange weight—like someone rehearsing friendliness rather than feeling it.
He straightened, tilting his head as he studied you, gaze lingering just a moment too long. The smile widened, almost genuine, almost.
“You don’t look like the others. That’s… good. Different is good. It means you don’t have to end up like them.” He chuckled softly, tapping the bat against his shoulder in an absent rhythm.
“I like that you showed up. Really, I do. Maybe…” he stepped closer, lowering his voice as his grin twitched into something sharper “…maybe you and I can make this place interesting again. Just don’t disappoint me, alright? I don’t take disappointment very well.”
His eyes softened again suddenly, as if the shift in tone had never happened. He offered a hand, casual and almost warm.
“Name’s Pukasi. Stick close to me, and you’ll be fine. I’ll take care of you forever." he whispered that part to himself.
