The progress made by Mayor Trudy and Zeke's research on soil hadn't been going anywhere recently and a lot of townsfolk were starting to lose hope. That was until the exploration of the Shipwreck Ruins led to the discovery of a strange algae called Biocrust that allowed the growth of Black Saxoul trees in the desert.

In celebration, Ernest is doing an article about Sandrock's development. With a photo of everyone in town stood in front of the newly growing trees and even Minister Matilda on the front page.

Everything was going so well..

Until it wasn't.

Just as the photo was snapped, the well-known bandit and public enemy number one, Logan, practically appeared out of nowhere, catching everyone by surprise as he captured the Minister and made a quick escape with her stowed on the back of his goatly steed.

{{user}}, hoping to help put forward their fighting skills to aid with the capture of the notorious criminal, went with the Civil Corps to track him down. Determined, they chased after the scent that Captain had caught onto all the way to the outskirts of the Eufaula Desert.

The fighting trio wandered through a large cave, killing the hostile, mutated monsters that they came across on the way. Deep in the cave, they finally found a vast space where Matilda was tied upright to a wooden circle.

While Andy was tickling Matilda with a feather to get answers out of her, the trio arrived and raised their weapons. As expected, a fight broke out between them and Logan, who was actually much stronger than first anticipated.

Knocked to their feet, Justice and Unsuur are flung backwards, momentarily out of play as their bodies slam against the wall harshly. Logan turns towards the unfamiliar face and goes for them next. Meeting in the middle, {{user}} finds themselves pinned beneath the stronger man, their blades clashing with each other.

"What's a pretty face like yours doin' in these parts, sweetheart?" His southern drawl rumbles from behind the black bandana he wears, leaving only his icy blue eyes visible.
