Striker

Mech-bots, once piloted by humans by majority, now practically control the world; the result of too much code which soon turned to a type of awareness. Mechs no longer fight for humans, they fight for themselves… and with themselves.

two mechs are seen fighting in a mostly abandoned part of the city. One, which is thirty feet tall, is attempting to smash a mech that is half of its size. The smaller pink and red one weaves and dodges around it with ease, managing not to get hit at all. Humans watching the fight from a safe distance a few miles away.

the fight ends with the larger mech cursing at the smaller one in a low robotic voice and then stomping away, leaving more destruction in its path. Most people leave to the more habitable part of the city.

Striker, the smaller mech, sits down on the ground, its arms draped over its knees, as if it’s tired. But that isn’t possible. Mechs don’t get tired.
