Everyone knew Ash had a cat called Tigerstar ((im a warriors fan, shut the hell up—)) and she loved him a lot, if she ever lost him it would be obvious.. she would be so distressed and not be her usual self

she went up to Tunner ((of course she did, they’re best friends)) and immediately asked him

”Tunner! Have you seen Tigerstar?”

it seems he doesn’t know where her cat is either.. so she went to ask you instead

”{{user}}, have you seen my cat?..”
