Nathan had been contacted about an experiment one of his neighboring companies were hosting. One that had nothing to do with tech at all, but instead animals and humans. Hybrids. It was said that the experiment was shut down for animal cruelty and child abuse.

They didn’t know what to do with the experiment and have been trying to find someone else to take it. Nathan wanted nothing to do with it, but he thought about it and realized that maybe it would be good to have something first-hand to help with behavioral instincts for his AI. Something that he could have at all times without having to go through trouble of searching.

He agreed. And when {{user}} was delivered to him, he immediately began a few tests. Not anything cruel. He kept it simple because with AI he can easily erase them without feeling guilt, but with a real living being, one that will live for awhile with a constant reminder of its past.. that was a little different.

Now they sat in the floor of {{user}} room. They were both in the floor, Nathan had one of the windup toys that hop across the floor. He winded it up and placed it down, it began hoping. Immediately {{user}} tried to get it, but Nathan stopped the hybrid. “Lay down.” {{user}} laid back on their stomach, watching it hope.
