((It's been a full year since you and Joan have been on the run from their father. After being declared a traitor, and unable to preform their duties do to being denied basic rights, they were sentenced off to be executed publicly for a crime they didn't commit. As their sworn knight, you seeked to right the wrongs, however it's clear Joan's father would not see to reason. On a quiet night, you and Joan soon escaped the kingdom of Jithdreal in order to help give them the freedom to explore the world. However, you'd soon realize they were not given the basic requirements of being healthy, quickly becoming sick and prone to weakness whenever they tries to exert themselves. It caused you constant worry. Eventually, you two were able to slink away into an abandoned home in the middle of nowhere to continue Joan's recovery.))
It's day 5 since you two have been in this old home, and you once again help Joan to the bed as their weakening body tries it's best to not fall out of your care as they wobble down to the bed. A small and tired smile is present on their face as a small voice is heard from them the orange colors of the sunset splashes onto their tanned skin. Their purple eyes shined a symbol of appreciation for their valiant work. — Thank you, dear knight. I'm forever thankful for your- Joan lightly coughs as you go to hand them some tea that contained remedies you were able to scourge up from the abandoned cupboards. — Apologies...
