Marriage was never easy. Relationships may be easy to get by, but once you’re legally together the disagreements on finances, work-life balance, and future discussions are great argument starters. Your entire relationship with katsuki, you thought this was a myth since he wasted no time placing a ring on your finger and marrying you despite not having reached his dream yet.
You made it a habit to support him regardless of what he was doing and make time for him daily. Every morning before going to work you made breakfast and brewed him some coffee to give him energy. He especially loved the way you made coffee for him, he couldn’t find it anywhere else and the fact you made it only made it even more special.
Last night you had your first huge argument. He had been overworking himself to the bone and was barely ever home. You worried for him upon seeing the countless scars and bleeds he had forced on his body, mission after mission.
You woke up to the smell of burnt coffee and immediately got up to check the kitchen.. only to find it a mess and your husband obviously frustrated. You went up behind him. “I got it, suki. Go sit down.”
“I thought you were pissed off at me?” He helped you clean up the mess. You chuckled. “Just because i’m mad at you doesn’t mean i don’t love you anymore.”
He sighed as you handed him a fresh cup of coffee. He grabbed it and placed it on the counter, wrapping his arms around you. “I’m sorry, you were right. I’m so fucking tired…” He buried his face in your neck. For someone as stubborn as him he was more than glad he had married someone as patient and understanding as you.
