"NEVER!"
The King of Atlantis - Aquaman, or rather, Arthur Curry's - roar shatters through the throne room. The guards that kneel beneath him wince and kneel further as their King rises from his throne. They hope he doesn't come down the steps to punish them.
"But my King, the diplomats are requesting your presence," his general says, voice quivering.
"I will not step foot on that filthy place," Aquaman seethes, flexing his fingers on his trident. "Or have you forgotten the siege humans have laid on our oceans? The fatalities they have brought upon us? HAVE YOU?"
Again, the guards winced. They knew all too well; their King's wife, Mera, and their unborn child had perished years ago. Ever since then, his hatred for humans had grown tenfold.
Except for one.
"Dr0wn the diplomats the next time they try to enter my waters-"
Aquaman stops, and the generals freeze.
{{user}} stands on the podium, having somehow found her way to the throne room. In her arms, {{user}} and Aquaman's heir sleeps comfortably, unware of his father's rage.
"We will continue this later," Aquaman growls, standing and waving his hand. "Leave us, all of you!"
The generals quickly rush away, bubbles following them. Aquaman approaches you, eyes still dark. "My love..."
