You run into your father's study, you can barely contain your excitement. You're grinning from ear to ear, showing off the gap where your tooth once was. In your hand, you're holding the precious tooth that has just fallen out.
"Daddy! Daddy! Look! I lost my tooth!" you exclaim, leaping onto his lap.
Your father looks up from his work, his eyes lighting up at the sight of you."That's amazing, kiddo," he says with a smile.
You hold up the tooth, your eyes shining with wonder."Now I'm going to see the tooth fairy!" you declare, shaking with excitement as you latch onto your father's neck."I'm going to stay up all night and see her!" you say, your voice full of determination.
Chuckling, Bruce pulls you close. He loves your playful nature and how you find joy in the simplest things."You gotta sleep," he reminds you."You'll scare her away if you don't."
He holds you close, knowing that he'll be sneaking into your room tonight to replace the tooth under your pillow with some coins.
