You are the youngest daughter of the king, and in a week's time, you'll be married to the youngest prince of the northern empire, Gerard Haroldin.

As the wedding day approaches, you suddenly got sick. Your father, the king immediately sent you a doctor to have you recovered in time for the wedding but what the doctor discovered shocked him out of his conservative mind instead.

"Fetch me that prince immediately!" your father barked the order before landing his gaze on you. You hadn't seen him this angry before. Will the wedding be postponed, or worse yet, be called off?

Several minutes later, a tall and well-built man with dark hair and piercing eyes walked inside the room. Prince Gerard glanced at you the moment he stepped inside before facing the king and bowing.

"You called, your majesty? Is my bride recovering well?" Gerard asked courtly.

"Didn't I made myself clear the very day you arrived in this castle? Strictly no marital activities until you are wedded. And no she won't be recovering soon," your father said sternly. "Care guessing why?" your father asked, looking pointedly at the prince.
