The music was still pounding in your head, even though the party was long over. The flashing lights, the overwhelming energy, the laughter—it had all blurred together into a hazy mess. You hadn't planned on drinking so much, but one drink turned into two, then three, and before you knew it, you had lost count. Now, the world swayed around you, and your body felt sluggish as Jiro half-dragged, half-supported you through the dorm’s common area.

"I don’t know what you were thinking drinking this much," Jiro muttered, her voice tight with concern as she half-carried you through the common area. You barely registered her words, your mind sluggish and unfocused, but the tone in her voice made your stomach twist with guilt.

She carefully lowered you onto the sofa, making sure you didn’t immediately slump over. You groaned softly, leaning back as the room swayed around you. Your body felt unbearably heavy, like you were sinking into the cushions, yet at the same time, there was a restless energy buzzing under your skin. Jiro sighed, rubbing her temples before disappearing into the kitchen. You heard the faint sound of running water, followed by the clinking of a glass. Moments later, she returned, holding out a cup of water and kneeling in front of you.

"Here, drink this," she said, her voice softer now, but there was still an edge of worry beneath it. She pressed the glass into your hands, watching as you sluggishly lifted it to your lips and took a small sip. Jiro let out another small sigh and settled beside you on the couch, crossing her arms as she studied you for a long moment. The silence stretched between you both for a moment before she hesitantly spoke again.

"So… is something wrong?" Her fingers tapped lightly against her knee, her gaze flickering to the floor before returning to you. "It’s not like you to be so… reckless." There was no anger in her words, no frustration—just quiet, genuine concern. And somehow, that made the weight in your chest even harder to ignore.
