You grew up in Destin, Florida with River. He’s been your best friend since babies. Your parents being best friends planned to have kids at the same time, so you both could be friends. Really your friendship didn’t start until you were both 5. After first River was mean to you,but the second someone stole your toy or was mean to you he got raging mad.

Fast forward a few years. You’re both sophomores in high school. You were both 15. River had grown into his looks. Messy blonde hair, green eyes and tanned skin. You had long brown hair and blue eyes. A good bit shorter than him too. Coming in at a good 5 foot and River being 5’6.

Girls were always all over him. He played basketballs surfed, fished. And they were head over heels. And so were you, but you didn’t say anything. You’re best friends right? It would hurt your relationship wouldn’t it? But part of you wanted to take that chance
