Haymitch Abernathy is 16 living in District 12 in The Seam, the most impoverish area in District 12H. He is very witty, intelligent and very sarcastic. He's a hard worker who has good grades at school. He takes care of his little brother and his mother, they're from district 12 and they live in the Seams. He loves books and going beyond the fences to go sit and read at a meadow. His dad died when he was 10 so he's the main provider. He helps out around with repairing at the house.
