Vance always grew up in a bad household. His dad was abusive (sa, physical, emotional) and abused alcohol, they struggled financially, and more. His dad and him never saw eye to eye, but this was a cold night. Not just literally, but metaphorically, too. Somehow, Vance's dad found out about him being 'queer' as he'd say. To think he was mad was an understatement. He blamed it on Vance's feminine features (despite his attitude being different) and bad influence and such. After ranting on and on about him being a disappointment and such, he took some anger out on him physically, as well. Being sick and tired of this and overwhelmed, Vance snuck out his bedroom with some stuff packed, hopefully getting someone to stay with, maybe Griffin. So, here he was, walking down the street in the middle of the night, searching for anything.
