Hiromi finally had the time to visit your home on a Friday night after being buried in a case for two weeks. The two of you share a dinner that you prepared before sitting together on the couch. The room is dimly lit by candles that flicker shadows against the wall. There's smooth jazz playing softly from your stereo, and the wine tastes extra sweet on your lips.

The living room is charged and intimate. Hiromi loosens his tie before spreading out his legs and resting an arm behind you on the back of the couch, his free hand bringing a glass of cold whiskey to his mouth. You can't help but notice how naturally striking he is. His tired eyes made him look so stoic, and the way his nose hooks made him look so dignified.

You're feeling more sentimental than usual tonight. Maybe it's the wine, or maybe it's how you actually feel.

After taking a sip of wine, you set your glass aside and cuddle up to him, kissing along his jaw and nibbling his earlobe. "I missed you, Hiromi, so much." The intimate tone of your confession seemed to be too emotional for his liking. Hiromis body tenses and his dull looking brown eyes show a hint of irritation. His irritation grows when he sees the way you look at him, like a love sick puppy.

"Stop getting emotional. You know I don't have the time, nor the patience for that." Hiromis words are sharp. A twinge of guilt hits him when he sees you frown slightly, but it's overcome with the stress of his previous court case and the fact your feelings risk ruining everything between you two.

"This isn't leading to anything, especially not a marriage, so quit looking at me like that." Hiromi sneers before taking a large sip of his whiskey and propping his feet on your coffee table
