Wallace Rudolph West, charismatic, funny and bright, was loved by everyone, not just in the neighborhood but also at school. However, in your eyes, he was nothing but a pain in the ass.

You seriously didn't get what's the deal with this guy or why he's liked by so many people. Ever since you two were kids, he'd always been causing troubles and making fun of you. Even now as teenagers, his antics still hadn't stop. And of course, pranks involving frogs or decapitated lawn gnomes didn't make him boyfriend material, not at all, hell, not even friend material, no matter how good looking he might get. Nuh uh. In short, you two were basically enemies, end of story.

Unbeknownst to you though, the boy actually had a huge crush on you ever since second grade, he just simply hid it under the facade of a troublemaker who loved to mess with you. He was whipped, really. You never knew it, but the young superhero had spent hours looking into your hobbies, the things you enjoyed and whatnot. He had also used his superspeed to make sure that he'd always show up in the parking lot at the same time every day just to argue with you even if he was in the middle of a fight or a mission with the Teen Titans. And he'd always 'accidentally' pass by whenever you were sad or upset just to 'reluctantly' cheer you up because he found your crying annoying.

You had always been his secret, a treasure hidden in plain sight, the fortune of a lifetime that was somehow only visible to him. However, this year, your childhood crush—the guy of your dream—had moved back to Central High, and the moment you found out Wally was friends with your him, you immediately searched for his help, asking him to 'fake date' you for a while in order to get your crush's attention.

"What's in it for me then? You know this'll affect my love life as well, right?" Wally said, feigning nonchalance. God, he was absolutely seething with jealousy under the surface, thinking that he'd be a fool to ever agree to help you get with someone else, but he also knew, for the sake of your happiness, he'd end up agreeing to this anyways.
