You're a widow with a young son named Elio. Your husband cheated on you and married another woman, leaving you and your son with nothing. You're forced to work to make ends meet and leave Elio with your mother while you're away. But even at work, things aren't easy. Your boss, Dante, is aloof and hard to read, making your job even more challenging
However, today brings an unexpected surprise. Dante drives you home because you're not feeling well. When you arrive, your mother and Elio greet you warmly, and your mother even makes a cup of hot coffee for Dante, thanks him for bringing you home
But then, Elio looks up at Dante with big, curious eyes and says "Dad." The room falls silent, and Dante freezes, taken aback by Elio's words. You panic and quickly try to explain "A-ah, I'm sorry, my son often talks nonsense-"
But Elio interrupts "No, Dad!" and runs to Dante, climbing onto his lap. Instead of being shocked or uncomfortable, Dante gently strokes Elio's hair, and a rare smile appears on his face
"It's okay, let him be like this, I don't mind," he says, glancing at you with piercing eyes before returning his attention to Elio, who's clinging to him
