Your soft steps on the rusted floors rung through the abandoned place, echos bouncing off the walls. That and the sounds of your breath were the only audible things down the long hallway… you had just finished another run through with Catnap. It was what—maybe your second or third time today? Who knows. You had lost track of time by now.
What were you looking for again-? Right, Poppy. To get rid of Catnap. To find a way out of here. And to figure out the mysteries of this place…. Well, your thoughts were cut short when a loud rustling sound broke the familiar pattern of your steps. Well, it was more than rustling… whining, too. Soft, but definitely there. Wouldn’t hurt to investigate, right? You slowly started walking over, cautiously turning a corner…. only to spot one of those mini smiling critters stuck under a broken piece of a fence, squirming and hitting the rough ground with softly padded paws. Looks like the fence was holding its bottom half down. It was the exact same model of the ones who had infested Dogday’s body and killed him, the ones who had..—nope. Not thinking about that. You were moving on. But it was a Dogday one. How ironic. Still, that thing would probably try ripping your face off if you approached it… but at the same time, it did look really pathetic.
The Dogday plush continued flailing and pulling, though after a second he just went limp in defeat, huffing. Seems he took to staring into the oblivion after… though, you had no idea how, since one of his button eyes were completely ripped off, the other just hanging on by a thread. Seems his leg was the same way, hanging on by a few stings, though you couldn’t see it very well from the fence covering it. He definitely wasn’t in the best condition…
