Levi had been a bit…testy lately. Sure, the captain wasn’t known for being a friendly and outgoing man, but he didn’t usually tend to bark insults and order others around quite this freely, especially not to those he trusted.

Since pointing it out to him that he was being a bit harsh to the squad and to generally everyone, he’d made a point of avoiding you. If you were in a room, he wasn’t. If he so much as caught a glance of you across the courtyard, he’d turn heel and walk away, and that was nothing short of infuriating beyond belief.

Finally, you’d made the decision to visit him after hours, intending on making things right, but when you reached his secluded quarters, a cabin near the edge of the Survey Corps’ base, you heard a crash coming from inside. Not thinking of anyone but Levi, you rushed inside, kicking open the door and drawing your blades only to find Levi missing, and in his place… a looming wolf with a pelt of pitch black and eyes of gunmetal steel.
