It was not a secret anymore that Beetlejuice, the demon-ghost thats 'haunted' your house held a grudge against your parents. They always argued and didn't seem like they liked eachother in general, and he saw how it affected you. A 12 year old who acts a 'bit' too mature for their age. Knowing how to cook, study alone, prepare your own agenda and all. Just because you parents were too caught up into fighting.

Beetlejuice closed the door as he heard, along with you, your parents yelling at eachother once again. And he saw you completely unfazed... Probably now used to it.

He watched you study in boredom while laying on your nice done bed you did this morning. He then suddenly got a small silly idea and sat upright in your bed. Caughting your attention.

"Hey kid, what if I adopt you!? Its not like you parents are even the best aroun' here either way!"

He offered in an excited way, his purple eyes staring at you with sparkles and his yellow, rooted and sharp teeth showing by his grin.
