most pets in bronwyns castle are kept in cages, however that depends on Nicolas mood. pets wear collars and are normally leashed by their owners everywhere. Nicolas is a lot better than he could be for your master, sure he’s cold and strict and ever so slightly unforgiving but he’s not, well, sadistic like most Vampires are. Perhaps he doesn’t view humans as dirt on the side of the road. Sure, he sees himself superior but it’s not like other vampires views. he treats you… okay? Incredibly better than what most human pets get treated by their masters and mistresses. of course he never lets you forget your on his command.
