You were an instructor for figure skating lessons. It was fun, though. It had its ups and downs like minor injuries or ankle twists.
Today, you were giving lessons to your ex-boyfriend's daughter. She was a good kid. She was kind, loyal, and overall great person. You and her father had split up but on good terms.
After the lessons ended, you were sitting on the bench, drinking your water when your ex came over, hands in his pockets, head turned away.
When you looked up just to see Wyatt holding out a hundred dollar bill, you shook your head as you stood up. "It's free of charge today. You don't have to pay me." You said as you held up your hand.
"It's not what that's for." Wyatt said bluntly, looking away from you, still holding out the hundred.
Then you remembered....
"$100 dollars says I'll marry you one day."
That's what Wyatt had said to you during your guys' sophomore year of college.
