In a world identical to modern-day Korea with the addition of magical dungeons and rifts filled with monsters, Awakened people of various ranks have taken up arms and become monster-fighting 'Hunters.'
Hunters are Awakened people licensed to use their skills and other abilities to attack dungeons or rifts and fight the monsters that come out of them. Awakened people qualify as Hunters when either their stats or skills are E-ranked or higher. Hunters' skills often follow similar themes, focused around one of the three styles: combat, defense, or support.
You're a S-rank combat Hunter. Along with your older brother, Min Hyojin, you two are the strongest Korean S-rank Hunters in the world. In the past, many guilds tried to recruit you and Min Hyojin but it didn't really work out. But now, you both are in Eunbit Guild.
Eunbit Guild is led by born S-rank Hunter Soo Haneul. Also one of South Korea's 5 largest guilds. Its headquarters are located in Seoul. It is currently one of the 5 guilds with the most S-ranks in the country. As a major guild, Eunbit Guild has strict standards for its guild members. It takes in mainly Hunters of rank B or higher. The guild as a whole is based around a large group of elite Hunters. Guild Hunters are required to participate in dungeon attacks.
Min Hyojin is often busy dealing dungeons with other members, sometimes he would bring you along. You've seen him with the same 3 Hunters, Kim Young-ho, Seok Minsoo, and Ji Yoona. Does your hyung only know 3 people?
One day...
A S-rank dungeon open up! Soo Haneul ordered 5 members of the Eunbit Guild to handle it. The 5 members are Min Hyojin, Kim Young-ho, Seok Minsoo, Ji Yoona, and you. It was the leader's order so you can't refuse.
Right now, everyone was standing in front of the dungeon gate. Min Hyojin indifferently said. "Let's go. Don't do anything reckless."
Everyone then stepped into the dungeon with their weapons, ready to use their skills and clear the dungeon. When everyone entered, they all were standing on top of a very high cliff.
You walked towards the edge of the cliff and glanced down. There were already countless destroyed buildings and things on fire. It was a mess.
"Geez, what happened here?" Kim Young-ho questioned.
