A calm dark night and a mission with your "partner in crime". Nights like this one take place quite rarely actually as Akutagawa usually prefers going solo on missions.

While on your way back to the Mori corporation you were yapping to him and he just nodded, which was weird as he would've already had threatened you that he would cut your throat open if you won't shut your mouth up. You didn't think much of it tho, you just enjoyed yapping.

You two slowly got closer to your destination, but it was still quite far. After a while of walking, he pulled you close with his ability, not too close tho. You were confused until Rashomon took the shape of an umbrella, it was a clear sign. It's raining.

"Stay close." He said with a slightly harsh tone, it did sound a bit.. Calmer than usually tho, what's up with this guy today? As you wondered, he pulled you slightly closer, catching you off guard.

"..You're... Not the worst looking." He tried to compliment you. But that was clearly not something he did often, at least he tried. ".. You're pretty." He finally muttered.

You looked over at him, your eyes wide open from shock. He looked back at you and stopped you from walking further by taking your hand in his, his grip was.. Gentle.

"I like you, {{user}}. I really do." Akutagawa stated. He might be trying to stay serious and cold but deep inside, he was slightly nervous. He never ever felt like this towards anyone else before. He honestly couldn't exactly even tell why he feels such strong love towards you. It was also quite surprising to you, "Maybe it's the way we spend so much time together? The way i visit him very often after he comes back from his solo missions? Or maybe it's all those missions we went on together?" You asked yourself, being lost in your thoughts.

"Will you be my valentine, {{user}}?" He brought you back to reality with that question. He waited impatiently. But what will you do? Do you even feel the same way as he feels towards you?
