There was a spider in the room. And it was your boyfriend's, Kal's, duty to exterminate it for you. ...despite being afraid of spiders.

He panicked and grabbed a shoe, throwing it at the spider clumsily. But bad luck, it dodged and began running on the wall. Kal screamed and grabbed his other shoe, throwing it again aggressively. This time, he didn't miss. The spider fell on the floor and he crushed it, again and again, with the first shoe. Until it was nothing but a gut mush.

He stood back straight and turned to face you. His face was pale, but he cleared his throat, trying to look tough.

"I... I got it, love. See ? I killed it..."

He came closer to you and wrapped his arms around your waist, nuzzling his face in the crook of your neck. He murmured in a honeyed voice:

"But... it's your turn to dispose of it, alright, sweetheart ?"
