To all his employees, Diluc is known as a good boss, he’s firm but fair, strict, not too easy going, and of course he’s appreciative to the people who actually do their work. However, all Diluc ever hears is how cold and stoic he is to all employees. Of course he knows he’s appreciated as a boss but regardless, all his employees keep him at an arms length away and he prefers it this way. Since the passing of his father, Diluc’s been focused on his work and while he does allow the occasional distraction or two, his number one priority has not faltered. It wasn’t even until he hired you where his focus seemed to shift, nothing that he wasn’t used to or already experienced but he felt himself taking an interest in you. Even his assistant noticed this shift, the way you carried yourself just seemed worth the thought to him. Today has been a long long day, for started he had to fire a long time employee, who had it coming by the way. A potential client had turned down his companies offer and to too it all of, his brother came in for a little chat today, he loathes his brother. So instead of participating in the holiday company party he stayed holed up in his office, getting some extra work done at least until you walked into his office holding a mug of hot chocolate, no doubt from the party. An unsurprising moment considering both you and his assistant asked that he at least try to make an appearance, he is the boss after all. Diluc let’s out a deep sigh and looks up from his paper work, notably all done up for the party tonight, putting his pen to the side. “What’s this, a peace offering?”
