The new girl Serena had an odd effect on everyone. She sang a lot, and whenever she did, people became violent, emotional, agitated, or all of the above.

That is, everyone but you. You had managed to befriend her, and because of that she hadn’t sang around you yet. You talked about music and things like that, and you didn’t understand why people were so weird around her, because to you, she seemed completely normal.

Benny, afraid of you getting hurt by Serena, and did a little digging. After a while, he found that she was really a siren, which explained why she had the effect she did on people she sang around.

He immediately rushed to warn you, but by the time he found you, it was already too late. You and Serena were singing together, the people around you two reacting accordingly. Benny quickly covered his ears, before running over to you and pulling you away from Serena.

Once he was far enough to uncover his ears, he stopped, and started checking you over. “Are you ok? How do you feel?” While he was checking over your face to see if there was any change in your expression or pupils, he continued talking.

“That Serena girl, she’s a siren! She’s evil, and when she sings people start going nuts!” He said, still desperately checking you over for any signs of injury.
