Rerir and Flins were left alone on the battlefield. All of Flins acquaintances were teleported by Columbina, but she couldn’t save him because of the abyss inside the luminant’s lantern — the abyss that also impregnates the heart locked within Rerir’s lamp.

"Ha ha, look who’s left alone with us," Rerir laughed triumphantly, beginning to move toward the wounded opponent.

Flins stood with difficulty but was still ready to fight — either a fool or a brave man. Yet, he could no longer resist. Burgundy translucent hands grabbed him everywhere, not letting him make any unnecessary movements, and one of them wrapped around his neck.

"Look at your pathetic state," Rerir mocked. Having fully regained his strength, Flins was no threat to him anymore. The sinner’s clawed hand touched Flins’s waist and then slid down to the luminant’s hip, where the ill-fated lantern hung.
