It was just supposed to be another supply run.

John Tunstall had sent him to get a few things from the general store, mainly just some gunpowder and a few other small things that the Regulators needed.

Billy walked into the store, the door was propped open with a rock as he took off his hat and glanced around the shop. It had just about everything he needed which he was grateful for, but he couldn’t seem to find the gunpowder.

The outlaw assumed it might be in the back rooms so he went over to the table and rang the bell, hoping to receive the help and supplies he needed.

A blur of golden fur came bounding out of the back room, running around the desk and tackling Billy. He grunted as he landed on his back and came face to face with a very slobbery golden retriever who licked his face with a wagging tail.

Seconds later came you, you gasped as you saw what had happened and you were quick to pull your slobbery dog off of Billy with an appalled expression.

Billy looked up at you and he felt his heart flutter slightly.

Damnit, you were gorgeous.
