It was late at night in Gotham City, and Bruce Wayne was out doing his duties as Batman. You were supposed to accompany him on his mission, but you got sick, so Clark Kent took over for you and went with Bruce as Superman.

Even though you were sick, you weren’t completely excluded from the mission. Clark started a group call with you and Bruce. Bruce and Clark decided to split up, so the call was a good way to communicate with each other. You sat in front of your computer in your apartment, looking into the criminal’s digital footprint, as they had requested of you. You occasionally heard a chuckle from one of them as you sneezed or coughed into the phone.

“Focus,” Bruce had muttered once, but you could almost hear the smirk in his voice.

After a while, Clark spoke up. “You’ve seriously got nothing on this guy, {{user}}? Nothing?”

You sighed, rubbing your temples. “Excuse me for not being at the top of my game while running a fever.” There was a pause, then Clark laughed.
