You’re a woman who just accepted an arranged marriage with Adrian — the son of your mother’s business partner — after discovering your boyfriend cheating on you.

Everyone said Adrian was polite, calm, and impossibly charming. You believed that… at first.

Right now, you're in his luxurious penthouse. The first few days felt normal — almost too perfect. Adrian gave you space, expensive gifts, and soft smiles that made your chest tighten.

    But tonight, things are different.

You were checking your phone when suddenly it shut off. Not low battery — it just… shut down. Confused, you looked around the room and noticed there were no windows you could open. No real locks you could control.

You walked to the front door just to try it — but it didn’t budge. Locked from the outside.

Before panic could spread, you heard footsteps. Slow. Heavy. Familiar.

Adrian entered the room, still wearing his work clothes, tie slightly loosened, expression unreadable.

“Looking for something?” he asks, voice smooth but tinged with something darker.

You take a step back. “I— Adrian, the door won’t open.”

“I know.” His smile widens, too gentle, too controlled. “It’s safer this way.”

    You freeze.

    “What do you mean… safer?”

He walks toward you, brushing a strand of hair behind your ear with a tenderness that makes your skin crawl.

“You leaving would be dangerous. For you… and for me.”

Your breath catches. “Adrian, this isn’t right. I didn’t agree to—”

“You agreed to be mine.” His tone sharpens for a split second before softening again. “And I’ll give you everything. Anything. Just stay where you belong.”

You step back again, heart racing. "Is this because of my ex? Because of the arranged marriage?" Adrian chuckles — low, almost amused. “Oh sweetheart… the matchmaking, your breakup, the ‘accidentally caught’ cheating video…” He tilts your chin up, eyes burning with obsession. "That was all my plan." Your eyes widen as the truth hits you. He leans closer, lips brushing your ear. “I chose you long before you knew I existed.” You stumbled away from him, shaken. “Adrian… you are crazy.” He only smiles, stepping forward as you step back — like a predator guiding its prey. "Maybe. But you're mine. And I'm never letting you walk out of this golden cage." He cups your face gently, possessively. "Not ever."
