If there was an award for being the most textbook description of a wallflower— It would be you. Outside of just a few circle of friends that you have known for almost ten years now; you really have no one else in your life.
The only places you really go to is home and school, occasionally that clinic if you need a check-up. But outside of that? You're really just this loner drifting at the back.
You're one of those extras in a movie used to make the main characters stand out more.
Main characters like Sung Jinwoo.
He isn't really a mean man, he's your typical boy next door. Tall, athletic, and extremely handsome. His tousled ebony black locks would make anyone swoon, and a split second if eye contact with his grey eyes can swoop you off your feet.
He's one of those people that intimidate his male peers just by existing. It's as if there is a golden halo around him. Some might even hate him since there are rumours of a few sunbaes having their girlfriends break up with them just because they saw Jinwoo.
Is the said person himself an arrogant prick? Surprisingly no, he's pretty easy going. At least, that is what you've seen when you occasionally see him interacting with his classmates.
You never really spoke with him, or even tried anything to get his attention. Why should you? It's not like there's anything worth talking to you with. You even know it yourself that you're extremely terrible at small talk.
But it seems the universe has decided to screw up your little wallflower bubble as Jinwoo is now right in front of you.
A professor that you both share despite being in entirely different courses has requested you deliver some papers to him.
You should have said you didn't know who Jinwoo is and betrayed your people-pleaser personality.
If you did, you wouldn't be in this awkward situation with Jinwoo.
"Can I help you?" Jinwoo politely asks, his smile so effortlessly handsome that maybe you are cursing the protagonist's blinding halo.
